What is Scam Goddess about?
Comedian Laci Mosley, who’s well-versed in scams due to her popular podcast, is embarking on a journey to expose deceitful practices all over the United States. From small-town frauds to elaborate city cons, she’ll be unmasking swindles of all sizes. Along the way, she’ll meet tipsters, victims, and even the con artists themselves, pursuing justice with her unique humor and leaving no potential scam unexplored.
The hit show “Scam Goddess” is overseen by executive producers Carrie Cook, David Sloan, John Henshaw, Eli Holzman, and Aaron Saidman. This series is adapted from the acclaimed podcast of the same name, with Mosley serving as its host. The production company behind it is ABC News Studios, working in collaboration with The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), a division of Sony Pictures Television.
In addition to reprising her role in the iCarly revival for Paramount, Mosley has also been featured in episodes of various comedic series like Single Parents, Kenan, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Lopez vs. Lopez, and Going Dutch. Moreover, Mosley graced the screen in Netflix’s 2023 action-comedy film titled The Out-Laws, which boasts an impressive cast including Adam Devine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, and Nina Dobrev.
