To mark its 40th anniversary, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has revealed that they will be releasing a remastered version of the classic period drama “Amadeus” in both 4K and Blu-ray formats. The film, which stars F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce, is an adaptation of the 1979 stage play with the same title, itself based on Alexander Pushkin’s 1830 play, “Mozart and Salieri.

An Italian composer, known for his discipline, develops a deep feeling of jealousy and bitterness towards the extravagant and exceptionally gifted young Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

When is the Amadeus 4K and Blu-ray release date?

For the very first time, you’ll be able to buy the enhanced version of Amadeus digitally in 4K Ultra HD on February 25th. This extraordinary production stars F.
