This year, I’m thrilled to grace the big screens alongside Nithya Menen in the movie Kadhalikka Neramillai! At a recent press conference, I shared some insights about my journey in the film industry and how I’ve consistently found ways to reemerge.
According to the actor’s account, he stated, “There is no such thing as failure without victory, and vice versa. Looking back to 2014, my career was struggling. That year, I made three films, but they didn’t perform well. During that period, I wasn’t even available for interviews.
Originally, the statement was: “I started questioning if it was all my fault. But the very next year, I had three consecutive successes in my career. In fact, it’s those who stumble and quit that are the real failures, not those who pick themselves up and try again. To put it simply, I plan to rise again this year.” (translated from Tamil).
“Last year, I began wondering if I was responsible for everything that happened. However, the following year, I managed to score three consecutive victories in my profession. The truth is, those who fall and give up are the real losers, not those who get back on their feet and keep going. In other words, I aim to rise again this upcoming year.
In summary, the actor emphasized that there are some intriguing ventures ahead for him which he finds exceptional. Notably, Jayam Ravi mentioned his upcoming collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan in SK25, directed by Sudha Kongara, and expressed his joy at this new phase of his life.
On the professional side of Jayam Ravi’s career, his recent appearance was as the main character in a movie titled Brother. This film, helmed by M Rajesh, follows the story of an upright individual who encounters moral dilemmas. To help him readjust to society, he is introduced to his sister’s in-laws, which only adds to his troubles.
The movie featured Priyanka Arul Mohan and Bhumika Chawla as prominent characters, but it flopped at the box office in 2024. Upcoming, Jayam Ravi will appear in the romantic-comedy Kadhalikka Neramillai, directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi.
