The original plan for “Captain America: Brave New World” included Seth Rollins, a well-known WWE star, playing a part. However, just lately, Rollins confirmed the speculations that his character was removed from the film.
Chris Van Vliet recently interviewed Rollins, who acknowledged rumors circulating about his character’s reduced role in the upcoming film, as these reports have started to emerge.
It’s set to premiere in February. Although I hope it succeeds, I won’t be involved with that movie. To be frank, any comments I make about it would just be my personal viewpoint. The script underwent numerous revisions and reshoots, which significantly altered or even eliminated my part.”

Later on, Rollins mentioned that Marvel Studios made efforts to include him in the film, as they continued to make edits and alterations. They even invited him to re-audition for another character, but ultimately, they were unable to find a suitable role for him in the final cut of the movie.
Rollins expressed uncertainty about the specific changes, but he mentioned that the project ultimately took a different course. He also hinted at numerous revisions and retakes, indicating their satisfaction with the final product, hoping for its success, and confirming that he won’t be part of it anymore.
Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World releases in United States theaters on February 14, 2025.
In this upcoming adaptation of “Brave New World,” Anthony Mackie will portray Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez will take on the role of Joaquin Torres/Falcon, and Harrison Ford steps into the shoes of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who is also recognized as Red Hulk. Previously, William Hurt played the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but unfortunately, he passed away in March 2022.
