According to announcements from publisher Playism and developer Kotake Create, the mysterious walking simulation game titled “The Exit 8” is now accessible on the Xbox platform through the Microsoft Store, priced at $3.99.

More than a million downloads of The Exit 8

Initially released on PC through Steam in November 2023, the game was subsequently made available on Nintendo Switch in April 2024, followed by PlayStation 4 and 5 in August of the same year. Across all platforms, the game saw a total of 1.4 million downloads globally by this point.

Playism labels their game as a “compact yet delightful walkthrough simulation that draws inspiration from subterranean passages in Japan, transitional areas, and the enigmatic Backrooms.
