Nayanthara vs Dhanush: Madras HC to announce final verdict over impending copyright case fight on THIS date

In a copyright dispute, actress Nayanthara found herself in a legal tangle with actor Dhanush over her documentary film. The controversy arose when it was alleged that she incorporated footage from one of Dhanush’s films, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, into her own work without first obtaining necessary permissions or clearance.

In reply, Actress Jawan publicly spoke up on social media, criticizing Dhanush over his seemingly unfair move, and clarifying that the filmmaker had denied her request to utilize a brief 3-second snippet from their shared work.

In the current situation, since the case remains unresolved by the Madras High Court, the most recent news indicates that the final hearing has been rescheduled to take place at a future time.

Following the documentary film’s streaming platform requesting more time to present their argument, Justice Bench led by Abdul Quddhose has postponed the case until January 22 for the final decision to be made.

Regarding the ongoing dispute between Nayanthara and Dhanush, it appears that their longstanding friendship of over a decade has been significantly affected.
