Following the triumph of Baahubali and RRR, everyone’s anticipation is focused on SS Rajamouli’s upcoming grand production, SSMB29 featuring Mahesh Babu. This film is rumored to be a thrilling world tour, and the chatter surrounding the project keeps fans eagerly awaiting its release.

According to a recent report from Times Now, it seems that the filmmaker may be preparing to launch a new project once SSMB29 has been finished and wrapped up.

A trustworthy insider hinted that renowned director SS Rajamouli might be planning to create a movie adaption of the epic Mahabharata, which he’s eager to bring to life on the big screen.

According to the reference, “Raja has long harbored the desire to create his own interpretation of the Mahabharata, an ambition that arose immediately following Baahubali. However, due to concerns about the risks involved, he was discouraged from pursuing it at that time. As a result, he opted for RRR instead. Currently, he feels that if he doesn’t take up this project now, he may never get the chance.

Well, indeed, working on the epic Mahabharata has been an ardent wish of the filmmaker.

Previously, in one of his conversations, he discussed his idea of incorporating a screenplay featuring Aamir Khan as one cast member, for this grand endeavor.

It’s worth pointing out that, thus far, the filmmaker hasn’t provided any formal verification about these claims.

Currently, it’s known that SS Rajamouli is engaged in an international journey alongside Mahesh Babu for the production of SSMB29. According to reports, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been cast as the film’s leading lady.
