Actor Colman Domingo is getting ready to reprise his role as Ali for Season 3 of “Euphoria.” Although the series has been on hiatus since early 2022, filming is anticipated to begin towards the end of this month.
During their chat on the Table Manners podcast, Domingo hinted at his impending involvement in Euphoria as he discussed his future endeavors. Even without a script in hand, Domingo has had discussions with Euphoria’s creator, Sam Levinson, about Season 3, which is anticipated to be exceptionally innovative.

Who is involved in Euphoria Season 3 besides Colman Domingo?
Much about Euphoria Season 3 remains unknown due to several issues that have emerged since its Season 2 finale in February 2022. Behind-the-scenes complications such as SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, coupled with the unfortunate deaths of actor Angus Cloud and producer Kevin Turen, have caused production delays. Additionally, reports suggest creative disagreements between Levinson and HBO have led to further postponement of filming’s start date.

In an interview with Vanity Fair last November, Zendaya shared her eagerness to discover the outcomes of everyone’s work on Euphoria, and catch a glimpse of its future. As for the specifics, she mentioned that filming is currently scheduled to commence in January.
Since the characters from “Euphoria” have now graduated from high school, it’s anticipated that Season 3 will feature a leap forward in time. Production for Season 3 is slated to begin this month as confirmed by HBO and Max’s Casey Bloys.
Bloys indicated that we may begin production around mid-to-late January, with no changes to the plan. A rumor circulated online sparked some speculation, but we’ve already started shooting the season. I’ve read the scripts, and everyone involved is content. We’re proceeding as planned, with all our actors on board.
Season 3 will consist of eight episodes for a rumored 2026 release date.
