Prior to the commencement of this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, Razer has announced its range of products that will be showcased at this year’s event. The product portfolio spans from fresh additions to their laptop series to ventures into AI technology. Although not all of Tuesday’s unveilings are set for immediate release, some are available starting today, while others are slated for later in January.
The standout unveiling was the upcoming Razer Blade 16, the newest addition to Razer’s series of 16-inch laptops. This sleek device is being hailed as the slimmest gaming laptop ever produced, boasting a design that measures only 0.59 inches thick – just slightly thinner than the 0.66 inches of the 5th generation 16-inch MacBook Pro.
The laptop will feature the AMD Ryzen ZI 9 HX 370 processor, making it the first time Razer has adopted AMD’s latest AI-driven processor line. Despite delivering top-tier gaming performance, the laptop’s vapor chamber cooling system is designed to maintain a moderate temperature. The new Razer Blade 16 is expected to hit the market in Q1 of 2025.
Razer is introducing some fresh gaming chair products, with the Project Arielle set to debut at CES. This latest development is said to be an advancement of the Razer Fujin Pro series. The innovative Project Arielle will reportedly be the first chair in the line to incorporate heating and cooling features. An integrated fan system, adjustable speeds, and energy-efficient PTC heaters enable users to regulate temperature settings for both heating and cooling their seat as desired. At present, there’s no announced release date for Project Arielle.
The Razer Iskur V2 X, which has been announced with a release date, continues the core design of last year’s model to create an affordable version. Featuring a built-in lumbar support, cushioned foam, and a recline angle of up to 152 degrees, the Iskur V2 X focuses on comfort. It will be sold for $299.99 USD, significantly cheaper than its predecessor’s original price of $649.99 USD. The Iskur V2 X is now available for purchase through Razer’s official website, as well as at RazerStores and other retailers starting today.
An interesting notion is Project Ava, dubbed as the “supreme AI esports mentor” by Razer. This software instrument provides AI-generated guidance from Razer’s team of coaches and players. Not only does it offer gameplay tips across numerous titles, but it also suggests ways for users to enhance their current PC configuration for optimal performance. A beta version of Project Ava is due soon.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about Razer’s latest venture into remote play! The Razer PC Remote Play will let me access high-resolution games directly from my computer and stream them to my mobile device. With the Razer Nexus app on Android devices, I can even enjoy some titles optimized with Razer Sensa HD Haptics for a more immersive experience. Plus, I’ll have access to my entire PC library! Although most Android devices should work with the Razer Nexus app and PC Remote Play, it seems that the Razer Kishi Ultra, released last year, will provide an even better experience when used together.
At CES 2025, Razer unveiled several new items, such as:
1. The Razer Handheld Dock Chroma, which allows mobile devices to connect to multiple monitors via HDMI cables.
2. The Razer Monitor Stand Chroma, designed to enhance workspaces by elevating them and offering extra connectivity options.
3. Razer HyperBoost, a feature that boosts system power when connected to the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad, which was released last year.
