Madha Gaja Raja director Sundar C on his initial anger towards Vishal: ‘I swore not to even look at his face…’

Vishal’s highly anticipated film with director Sundar C, titled Madha Gaja Raja, is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2025. At a recent pre-release event, the director shared an intriguing story about his earlier feelings towards Vishal – he admitted to feeling irritated before they officially met and had even made a vow not to cross paths with him again.

At the gathering, the director reminisced about his initial encounter with the Mark Antony actor, which took place long ago, and how they eventually formed a friendship. The director-actor stated that at first, he was not acquainted with Vishal on a personal level, but Vishal and his wife Khushbu are close friends. When it came to inviting him for the script, they reached out through his production company and arranged a meeting.

The director, along with his assistant writer, showed up at Vishal’s office on time. However, five minutes before the scheduled meeting, Vishal left his office. While the writer recognized the person leaving as Vishal, Director Sundar C thought they might have mistaken him for someone else and chose to wait.

Initially, it turned out that Vishal was the one who had left first, causing Sundar C to feel angry. Upon returning home, the director expressed his anger and even vented to his wife about the incident. In defense of Vishal, his wife intervened, but Sundar C prevented Khushbu from resolving the situation.

Later on, about two months after that, I found myself at an event where Vishal happened to be as well. Determined not to catch a glimpse of his face, I managed to avoid looking at him. However, even in the bustling crowd, he approached me and shared that he had to deal with an urgent medical situation involving someone close to him.

The actor had asked Sundar C for forgiveness which made the director realize the nice soul he is.
