NVIDIA unveils RTX Blackwell 50-series of GPUs at CES 2025

At CES 2025, NVIDIA ignited excitement by unveiling the RTX 50-series graphics cards, which belong to the Blackwell lineup. These cards are set to hit the market in January, starting at a price of $549.

On the 6th of January, 2025, Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s Founder and CEO, presented the RTX Blackwell – a fresh lineup of graphics cards from their stable – at CES 2025. This set of GPUs is affectionately known as the RTX 50-series.

It’s worth noting that the pricing for the RTX Blackwell series of graphics cards varies significantly, offering some of the most affordable options in recent times. These cards will also be incorporated into a selection of laptops, priced from $1,299 (for the RTX 5070, boasting 800 AI TOPS) to $2,899 (for the RTX 5090, offering 1,850 AI TOPS). Starting in March, consumers can purchase one of these new laptop models.
