Cannes Winner Émilie Dequenne Get Stranded in Exclusive Survive Clip

Looking forward to unveiling an exclusive preview of “Survive” – a survival disaster movie from Samuel Goldwyn Films, starring Émilie Dequenne who won the Cannes Award for “Rosetta”. After making its initial appearance at FrightFest, the film will now be premiered on January 10 in selected cinemas and various digital platforms.

What happens in the Survive clip?

In this video, we see a family who find themselves in a challenging predicament upon abruptly awakening in an unfamiliar desert landscape. Apart from Dequenne, the movie will feature Andreas Pietschmann portraying Tom, Lisa Delamar as Cassie, Lucas Ebel as Ben, Olivier Ho Hio Hen as Nao, and Arben Bajraktaraj as the Spearman.

The film titled “Survive” is helmed by director Frédéric Jardin, who collaborated on the screenplay with Matt Alexander. This heart-pounding survival drama is brought to life by producers Marc Stanimirovic, Cédric Iland, Bastien Sirodot, and Marc-Etienne Schwartz, with Ludovic Naar and Frantz Richard serving as executive producers. The technical team includes cinematographer Pierre Aim, editors Reynald Bertrand and Camille Toubkis, among others.

In the movie, Julia and her cherished spouse celebrate their son’s birthday on a boat in the heart of the sea. However, a fierce storm comes close to overturning them. Waking up later, they find themselves in a barren desert landscape. The planet has suffered an unfortunate reversal of polarity, causing oceans to dry out. The family urgently needs to reach safety as the water starts returning, while simultaneously fending off terrifying creatures from the depths that prey on fresh meat.
