As a die-hard wrestling fan who has been following Kenny Omega’s career since his days in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement when I heard the news about his imminent return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). After a year-long hiatus, the “Cleaner” is set to make his comeback in the squared circle, and I can hardly contain my anticipation.
The first time I witnessed Omega’s legendary matches against Kazuchika Okada was during their series of five-star encounters at Wrestle Kingdom events, which remain some of the most memorable moments in wrestling history. So, when it was revealed that he would face off with Okada once again at Wrestle Dynasty, I couldn’t help but reminisce about those unforgettable matches and wonder what their next encounter would bring.
The news of Omega’s return to AEW next week on Dynamite only fueled my excitement further. After all, it has been months since we last saw him on the show, ever since he was attacked by The Elite. I can hardly wait to see what unfolds as Omega returns to the ring for the first time since that fateful night in May.
Now, let’s not forget that Kenny Omega is known for his sense of humor and quick wit, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he comes out with a few jokes or quips during his return. I’m half expecting him to walk into the ring next week with a “Gone Fishin'” shirt on, just to troll The Elite! Can’t wait to see what surprises Omega has in store for us wrestling fans in the coming weeks and months!
As a long-time fan of professional wrestling, I was absolutely thrilled to hear that Kenny Omega is set to make his return to AEW Dynamite after a year-long hiatus. Having followed his career closely, I can’t wait to see him back in the ring and taking on new challenges. The news that he will face NJPW star Gabe Kidd at the cross-promotion event Wrestle Dynasty has me even more excited. It’s always a treat to witness epic matches between top wrestlers from different promotions, and I have no doubt that this one will be no exception. AEW teasing Omega’s return last week on Dynamite only added to the anticipation, and I’m counting down the days until he makes his comeback at AEW World’s End at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. It’s going to be a fantastic show, and I can hardly wait!
Last weekend at World’s End, it was confirmed that Omega faced off against Kazuchika Okada. Earlier in the event, Okada had triumphed over Will Ospreay in the finals of the Continental Classic. Following his victory, Okada carried on celebrating until Christopher Daniels made an appearance on stage and congratulated him for his Continental Classic win.
Daniels declared that he had stepped down from his position as Executive Vice President at AEW and welcomed Omega onto the stage with a thunderous applause from the crowd. Upon entering the ring, Omega bestowed the title upon Okada following his impressive victory in the Continental Classic tournament. Yet, an intense gaze passed between the two NJPW competitors as Okada hoisted the title aloft.
