As per a recent report from Gulte, the exciting collaboration between the renowned superstar and the director of RRR is slated to begin in 2025. TopMob’s exclusive update has confirmed that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be taking on the role of the main female character in the film.
Priyanka is making her comeback to Bollywood with SSMB29, having been away from Indian cinema for six years since her last lead role in the 2019 film The Sky Is Pink, where she starred alongside Farhan Akhtar in a biographical comedy-drama.
According to the same source, it seems that the actress was negotiating with the director for about six months before settling on the project. Furthermore, it’s been shared that the filming is scheduled to start in April 2025 and is expected to last until the end of 2026.
