As a seasoned Destiny 2 gamer with thousands of hours under my belt, I must admit that the current state of the game has been a bit disheartening. However, the arrival of Revenant Act 3 on January 7th is like a beacon of hope in these troubled times. The leaked details about the new Exotic mission, bosses, and rewards have ignited a spark of excitement within me.
Players of Destiny 2 are struggling to maintain their excitement regarding the game and its upcoming developments. At present, things seem quite dismal, however, a fresh start is just around the corner with the arrival of the New Year, marking the beginning of Revenant Act 3. Although Bungie has yet to reveal much information about it, leaks have hinted at potential rewards and distinctive bosses that will be introduced when Destiny 2’s Revenant Act 3 is released.
The number of active D2 players has fallen significantly, leading some to worry that the game might be in decline. However, despite these fears, there are numerous exciting updates lined up for the future, such as balance adjustments (buffs and nerfs) in January and a brand-new dungeon slated for February, as part of the 2025 roadmap.
Initially, Bungie plans to unveil Act 3 of the Revenant expansion for Destiny 2, and leaked information gives us a glimpse of what players should expect.
Destiny 2 Revenant Act 3 leaks
Destiny 2’s Act 3 will be launched on the 7th of January, as announced in Bungie’s latest ‘This Week In Destiny’ blog post.
To date, Bungie has not revealed many specifics about the third act, but they’ve hinted that it concludes the Revenant storyline. This act promises a fresh Exotic mission, novel weapons, and an additional set of Artifact perks as parting gifts.
Based on the current official info, BungieLeaks has disclosed additional details about X. The leaker claims that the Exotic Mission is titled “Kell’s Fall,” and it seems to have three distinct variations, all of which include an Expert mode.
- Distortion
- Diffraction
- Reflection
Because of three different versions, it’s claimed that each one will have a unique boss:
- Scorned Organist (Distortion)
- Fikrul, the Fanatic (Diffraction)
- Reksis Vahn, the Hangman (Reflection)
Lastly, there will be the following rewards:
- Red Tape Scout Rifle
- Enriching Powder (Tonic Ingredient)
- Vintage Kell’s Fall Weaponry
- Slayer’s Fang
