Official trailer and plot of Viduthalai Part 1:

In the opening scene of Viduthalai Part 1, the story features Soori and Vijay Sethupathi as the main characters. The narrative commences with a train accident that occurred in 1987. As authorities probe into this tragic event, they aim to detain the head of a radical organization called Perumal Vaathiyaar.

Law enforcement officials are currently investigating more thoroughly because they believe the train derailment was a protest organized by an extremist group, possibly aimed at the government. Simultaneously, a newly hired police constable named Kumaresan, who also serves as a driver, finds himself part of the mission to apprehend the group’s leader.

In the narrative, Kumaresan finds himself caught in a dilemma between his personal moral compass and his professional obligations, as the tale unfolds around the intense pursuit of the suspected leader. The circumstances surrounding him make him grapple with whether to adhere to what he perceives as right or to carry out his responsibilities as a police officer. This internal turmoil shapes the remainder of the storyline.
