As a devoted follower and admirer of Prasad Behara‘s work, I must confess that his recent actions have left me disheartened and disappointed. Having grown up watching his performances and being inspired by his Telugu acting prowess, it is truly heart-wrenching to see such accusations against him.
Known influencer and Telugu actor, Prasad Behara, was taken into custody in Hyderabad, following allegations of sexual harassment made by his female co-star. In her report, she detailed instances where he had reportedly harassed her on multiple occasions, as well as making offensive remarks and unwanted physical advances towards her.
According to various accounts, Prasad was involved in the same TV series, Pellivaramandi, as the victim. It appears that the entire incident began there. The Telugu actor allegedly behaved improperly towards her on the set by inappropriately touching her during a specific occurrence, which is a serious breach of professional and personal boundaries.
Consequently, the female costar chose to leave the production. Yet, Prasad intervened, attempting to smooth things over by apologizing on behalf of himself, hoping to resolve the issue.
In this scenario, after resolving their differences, they moved on to another task titled “Mechanic.” It was during this time that Prasad Behara joined the set once more.
In simpler terms, it’s said that this individual made disrespectful and inappropriate comments about the actress, targeting both her physical appearance and personal character. Additionally, there were allegations that he attempted to invade her personal space physically.
A defining moment occurred when Prasad assaulted the victim on December 11, as she was making her way home from work.
In the absence of any other choice, she swiftly turned to the police for assistance, filing a report against him.
Consequently, Prasad Behara has been taken into judicial custody for 14 days. Notably, no official comments or statements have been made regarding this issue by him or his representatives.
In truth, as of now, there hasn’t been any statement issued by the creators of the series “Mechanic,” in which the two characters were collaborating before this regrettable event took place.
