In the trailer, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Isabelle Fuhrman from Orphan are introduced. Surprisingly, they discover a deep affection for one another. However, their newfound romance faces a significant challenge when illness strikes. The film also stars Jimmie Fails (The Last Black Man in San Francisco), Gabby Kono-Abdy (Baker’s Dozen), Jennifer Grey (best known for Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) as well as Kelsey Grammer (Frasier).
The movie “Wish You Were Here” was directed by Stiles, who co-wrote the script with Renée Carlino, based on Carlino’s popular novel of the same title. This is Stiles’ first time directing a feature film, and she has previous experience in romantic comedies due to her memorable roles in films like 10 Things I Hate About You and Save the Last Dance. The movie is being overseen by Fuhrman, Bourg, Gendron, Jazayeri, Leff, Martonne, Renteria, and Túrmina as executive producers.
