The First Descendant dev announces imminent Caliber refunds, check if you’re eligible

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that The First Descendant Season 2 has truly been a rollercoaster ride. The introduction of Keelan and the Fellow character has added a fresh breath of air to the game, and the content has been top-notch so far.

So far, Season 2 of The First Descendant has been amazing, with the addition of a new playable character, Keelan, and the introduction of TFD’s first Fellow. While the content has been terrific, there have been some minor issues that Nexon is working to resolve. After the release of the Fellow bundle, Nexon will promptly offer Caliber refunds to affected The First Descendant players.

By the close of 2024 and the start of 2025, don’t forget to claim all the free rewards available in December. Players can also get a new bundle that was just released in celebration of Season 2’s launch. In regards to upcoming developments, Nexon has disclosed that a new Fellow will be joining TFD next year, and they have hinted at the inclusion of a photo mode for Season 3.

Before the New Year arrives, eligible players of The First Descendant have a chance to receive Caliber refunds from Nexon. This should add some excitement to their gaming experience!

How to get The First Descendant Caliber refunds

On the Discord server “On The First Descendant,” Nexon has unveiled a forthcoming “refund system” for players who bought the “Fellow bundle.” A problem surfaced with this bundle, where discounts were not applied to players who already owned certain items within it.

If you bought the Fellow bundle prior to hotfix 1.2.0c and you had previously owned some of the included items, you’ll be entitled to a Caliber refund.

Refunds will be distributed starting from December 17, 2024 (Tuesday), Pacific Standard Time, via regular mail. Depending on your location, it might arrive a day later, on Wednesday. Please note that the refund may take some time to reach your in-game inbox. There’s no mentioned expiration date in the Discord announcement, but you should make sure to claim your refund before the mail expires.

In summary, the Caliber you’ll get is equal to the original discount value during the Fellow Bundle purchase. For instance, if you bought the Enhanced Tracking Bundle (750 Caliber) and already own the Hagios Sheepdog, you will receive 385 Caliber.
