However, Kabal convinces Kano to turn against Earth, leading to his demise during a fight with Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), who seized his Arcana in the process.
In a conversation with The Direct, Lawson pondered over his character’s destiny and the future of Kano in the upcoming Mortal Kombat sequel. “I can tell you that in the next Mortal Kombat, Kano experiences a fresh phase in his life – one that involves death,” he clarified.
