As an ardent admirer of Trisha Krishnan, I find her journey from being a beauty queen to a powerhouse actress nothing short of inspiring! Her ability to transform from Suhasini to Trisha, and her unwavering determination to make it big in the film industry is truly commendable.
Trisha Krishnan is known as an unstoppable force in both regional and national cinema. Her talent requires no introduction, and she’s truly excelled with her versatility. But here’s something interesting: Before making a full-fledged film debut, the actress used a different stage name that eventually changed. Want to learn more? Keep reading!
Back in an earlier conversation, Trisha shared that she initially planned to debut in the movie world under the stage name Suhasini. However, no movies ever acknowledged her by that name, so she opted to stick with her birth name, Trisha.
To those unfamiliar, prior to her film career, Trisha made her first steps into the realms of modeling, beauty pageants, and fashion. In 1999, she was titled Miss Salem Steel City, and subsequently, Miss Chennai.
In a previous conversation with Yugi Sethu, Trisha opened up about her past years, saying, “Approximately seven months ago, I dabbled in modeling, and I found it incredibly enjoyable.
She further mentioned that acting was never something she initially aspired to and added that she preferred modeling over it.
Immediately following this, she made her on-screen debut by featuring in various music videos for her initial endeavors. One such project was the song “Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaaye” by Falguni Pathak, marking her first appearance before the camera.
It’s interesting to note that despite her role as the Vidaamuyarchi actress, she initially showed little interest in the film industry and had aspirations to study criminal psychology instead.
Fortunately for me, destiny led her to the captivating realm of cinema, where she ascended to a level of fame that sets her apart from others. Throughout my lifetime, this diva has graced some of the most triumphant movies and shared the screen with the iconic stars of each era.
Here I am, thrilled beyond words! Time flies when you’re a fan, and here we are – right now! Trisha has a stellar film roster, each one teasing the promise of diverse characters she brings to life on screen. It’s a sight to behold!
These include Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly with Ajith, Vishwambhara with Chiranjeevi, Suriya 45 with Suriya, Identity with Tovino Thomas, Thug Life with Kamal Haasan, and others.
