As a devoted fan who has been following Brett Goldstein’s remarkable journey, I am thrilled to see him taking center stage yet again, this time in the heartwarming romance-drama “All of You.” His exceptional talent and versatility are on full display as he not only stars but co-writes the script with director William Bridges.
Apple Original Films has secured the rights for the upcoming romance-drama film titled All of You, starring Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots. Not only does Goldstein play a key role in the movie, but he also collaborated with director William Bridges on writing the script. The release date for this production has been confirmed.
Brett Goldstein and Imogen Poots’ All of You to release on Apple TV+ in 2025
The film “All of You” is set to make its first appearance on Apple TV+ in the year 2025. This motion picture held its initial screening at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2024. The production of this movie was handled by MRC, Republic Pictures, and Ryder Picture Company. Both Bridges and Goldstein are credited as producers, along with Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett from Ryder Picture Company.
In a not-too-distant timeframe, the setting for this film is when technological advancements allow soulmates to be identified through tests. Close companions Simon (portrayed by Brett Goldstein) and Laura (played by Imogen Poots) harbor deep emotions towards each other. As one of them decides to take the test in search of their destined partner, the outcome is far from anticipated, leading to a shift in their lives that’s impossible to ignore.
Goldstein and Bridges had utilized a similar concept in their 2013 short film titled “For Life.” Additionally, their TV series “Soulmates,” which debuted on October 5, 2020, on AMC, is also set in the future. It centers around a test that claims to identify your soulmate with absolute certainty. Interestingly, AMC approved another season for Soulmates before its premiere, but later decided against it and canceled the series after Season 1.
In addition to Kate Winslet, the ensemble of All of Us features actors like Zawe Ashton, Jenna Coleman, Steven Cree, Murray Bartlett, Chloe East, Éva Magyar, and Alara-Star Khan.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement about the latest film, which represents another triumphant collaboration between Goldstein and Apple. You might remember him from his remarkable role as Roy Kent in the hilarious sports comedy series, Ted Lasso. Additionally, he joined forces with Bill Lawrence and Jason Segel to create the captivating comedy-drama series, Shrinking. His exceptional performance in Ted Lasso earned him two consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022.
