This week, The Pokemon Company unveiled information about the TCG Pocket’s Mythical Island expansion in a press statement. This expansion is planned for release on December 17, 2024, and will be accessible free of charge to all players. In this expansion, players can expect to find a variety of new cards with Mew, the Mythical Pokemon, serving as the main attraction. Additionally, there’s been a hint dropped about a holofoil version of Aerodactyl in the set. Players will also get to appreciate a fresh binder and display board that showcases the breathtaking landscapes of Mythical Island.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my excitement as developers DeNA and The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon TCG Pocket continues to thrive, amassing a staggering 60 million downloads since its launch in October! Even more impressive, the game generated a whopping $120 million in sales from in-game transactions last November alone. It’s evident that Pokemon TCG Pocket is not just surviving but dominating the mobile gaming landscape, and I can’t wait to see it remain a powerful presence for years to come!
