According to the latest update, Hurst, Giancarlo Esposito, Harold Perrineau, Taryn Manning, Zhang, Orlando Norman, Spence Moore II, Heidi Grace Engerman, West Mullholland, Sam Rechner, and Curran Walters have joined the cast of the upcoming movie.

The narrative, “Out Comes the Wolves,” focuses on Norman, Moore, Engerman, and Zhang – a tight-knit group of friends – as they navigate through the 1990s East Bay punk scene. They yearn for a means to escape the turmoil and despair in their city, seeking to realize their aspirations instead.

In the new production, Esposito takes on the role of a relentless mid-tier gang leader, while Perrineau is cast as Moore’s father, who dreams of his son becoming a professional baseball player. Manning portrays Norman’s mother, a character who openly expresses her dislike for having children. Lastly, Hurst plays a homeless individual with psychic abilities.

Amidst the turbulent East Bay punk music scene of the mid-1990s, Wolves is a tale that unfolds grit, aspirations, violence, and despair. The characters, portrayed by Norman, Moore, Engerman, and Zhang, form a close-knit group of high school friends yearning to break free from their troubled city. However, escaping proves challenging when the city streets are teeming with metaphorical dangers and prophets lurking around every corner. The narrative follows these teens as it explores who will manage to escape and who may become prey when the wolves – symbolizing danger or adversity – emerge to hunt.
