As a seasoned gamer who has navigated countless virtual worlds and battled through numerous game updates, I can confidently say that the introduction of Ines Raya to The First Descendant is undoubtedly an exciting development for us gamers! After immersing myself in the thrilling first season, I’m eager to experience a fresh perspective with not one but two new characters.
Unlike The First Descendant Season 1 which primarily focused on a single character, Keelan, Nexon’s second chapter will present two new characters instead. One of these is Ines Raya, who is set to join the game later next year. At this point, details about her are scarce, but Nexon has hinted that Ines Raya possesses some “exciting” abilities in The First Descendant.

The First Descendant Ines Raya skills
Recently, Nexon held a live broadcast for The First Descendant, prior to the launch of update 1.2.1. During this stream, the main focus was on the improvements and adjustments in the patch. However, the developer took a moment to share some insights about the skills of Ines Raya before her debut.
The livestream was led by creative director Min-Seok Joo, assisted by interpreter Yoon-Kyjung Joo. They chose not to disclose much information about the upcoming character but shared a snapshot demonstrating one of her talents during their conversation about her powers.
Keep in mind that what you see in this screenshot isn’t the end product, so it might appear slightly different upon its launch. The creative director explained that Ines Raya possesses the power to hurl lightning and effectively energize her adversaries.
To clarify, the creative director mentioned that she employs electrical abilities, causing enemies to enter an electrified state. When delivering critical hits, she can inflict additional electrical damage. Further information will be disclosed following the second update.

Ines Raya doesn’t have a specific launch date yet, but based on the Season 2 plan, it’s set for a January debut.
