As we were about to embark, Cyrus Renault suddenly burst onto the scene, clanging bells loudly, begging for donations from everyone around him.

While on their regular patrol, Dexter and Lauren stumble upon a heated disagreement among a group of inebriated football fans. It seems they’re quarrelling fiercely about their team and the rules of the game. Approaching them cautiously to deescalate the situation, they manage to separate the arguing parties. The sight of Lauren and Dex leaves the young men terrified, causing them to quickly vacate the area.

Later on, Lauren moves towards the boys’ vicinity, while Dex continues at the alley to discard the empty liquor bottles. Unfortunately, a distressing event unfolds for him. As Dex is focused on dumping the bottles, he fails to notice that someone has snuck up behind him. He also doesn’t perceive any approaching footsteps. The mysterious figure, wearing a coat and black gloves, then produces a knife that had been sharpened, and uses it to attack Dex.

As the wrongdoer flees the crime scene, Dex lies writhing in pain on the ground. Fortunately, Lauren rushes to his side and notices his dire state. She swiftly transports Dex to the hospital and contacts the authorities at the same time. Since people learned about his situation, many fans have expressed worry over the future of his character.

Regardless, upon arriving at the hospital, the doctors managed to pull me from perilous circumstances and opted for immediate surgery to mend my wounds. Simultaneously, I made sure to fill Chase in about the entire crime situation and the identity of my attacker before going under the knife. The intriguing part is that we’re yet to find out how Chase will unravel the mystery surrounding my assault and apprehend the perpetrator.
