As a dedicated Rick and Morty fan since its debut in 2013, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and curiosity upon witnessing the release of the Season 8 teaser trailer. The series has always been a rollercoaster ride of humor, sci-fi adventures, and heartfelt moments that resonate with audiences worldwide.

A new Rick and Morty Season 8 teaser trailer is out, previewing the next season of the hit Adult Swim comedy and jokingly promising the return of the fan-favorite character Jerry.

What happens in the Rick and Morty Season 8 teaser trailer?

The latest preview for the upcoming season isn’t very revealing, but it does show various characters trying out to become the new Jerry. Towards the end of the clip, Morty and their family come back and inform Rick that they’re going to stick with the Jerry they currently have.

Rick and Morty Season 8 will premiere on Adult Swim sometime in 2025.

Since 2013, Rick and Morty has been a popular show on Adult Swim, ranking among their most successful productions ever. The seventh season, consisting of 10 episodes, was released last October. Co-created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Roiland was dismissed from the series in early 2023 following charges of domestic battery and false imprisonment, with additional allegations surfacing shortly thereafter.
