Marvel’s upcoming series, What If…? Season 3, has dropped a fresh trailer ahead of its December launch. The latest sneak peek offers glimpses of a revamped Avengers squad, an intriguing collaboration between the Watcher and Celestials, along with other captivating insights.

The Watcher teams up with Celestials in new What If…? Season 3 trailer

Starting from December 22, Marvel is releasing the first eight episodes of Season 3 for “What If…?”. As a finale to their marketing efforts, they’ve unveiled a fresh trailer.

The footage features snippets from all eight upcoming episodes. One of those is a Mjolnir-wielding Storm’s debut in the MCU. Another showcases Riri Williams as Superior Ironheart, offering an alternate take on the superior Iron Man story from the comics.

Among the standout choices are an episode featuring the partnership between Winter Soldier and Red Guardian, another showcasing an alliance between The Watcher and The Celestials, and crucially, a cross-dimensional tale where Sam Wilson heads a fresh squad of Avengers, consisting of Monica Rambeau, Moon Knight, and other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters.

The official logline of Marvel’s What If…? Season 3 reads:

In Season 3, our familiar heroes face unforeseen decisions which will transform their universe into astonishing, alternate variations within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Season 3 of What If…?, some familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe reprise their roles. Notable among these are Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.

The show reintroduces Kathryn Hahn playing Agatha Harkness, Kumail Nanjiani portraying Kingo, Samuel L. Jackson appearing as Nick Fury, Seth Green voicing Howard the Duck, Lawrence Fishburne taking on Bill Foster, Dominique Thorne embodying Ironheart, Simu Liu starring as Shang-Chi, Hailee Steinfeld donning the role of Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth embodying Thor, Tom Hiddleston reprising his part as Loki, and many more characters.
