The Finals dev is “sorry” for tricking fans and promises “much more to give in just a few days”

As a long-time fan of The Finals, I must admit that yesterday’s turn of events left me feeling a bit like a kid who was promised candy but only got a lollipop stick. However, much like how I’ve learned to savor every moment in this game, I choose to look forward and focus on the sweet reward that’s just around the corner – The Finals Season 5!

The Finals Season 5 is less than a week away! There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the upcoming new chapter from Embark, and the developer has already revealed plenty of information about the impending chapter. However, they didn’t deliver more “juicy info” yesterday as promised, and Embark has said they are “sorry” for tricking The Finals fans while promising “much more to give in just a few days”.

Starting from December 12th, fans who qualify for registration will get an early access to Season 5, which is just around the corner. In anticipation of its release, we’ve shared some sneak peeks of fresh weapons and tools, as well as a brand-new map and additional features.

Anticipation for Season 5 of The Finals is running high, and with yesterday’s letdown, fans should brace themselves for additional content shortly.

The Finals dev apologizes for tricking fans

In a segment of PC Gamer’s “Most Wanted” show on December 5th, Embark hinted at exciting details for The Finals Season 5. However, Embark failed to deliver as promised, and consequently, issued an apology to the gaming community.

On Discord, Dusty expressed regret by saying, “We sincerely apologize for leading you on with the allure of valuable information that we ultimately failed to deliver.” Dusty clarified that this misunderstanding was unintentional, arising from poor communication between our departments during a particularly chaotic period.

In the same apology, Dusty promised “much more to give in just a few days”. There is the anniversary livestream on Saturday celebrating the game’s one-year birthday, meanwhile, Embark is hosting a preview event on Monday “that will offer you a glimpse of real gameplay from your favorite creators”. In addition, Embark are sill polishing the “actual trailer for Season 5”.
