Marvel’s Loki Actor Jack Veal Provides Update After Revealing He’s Homeless

As a fan, I am genuinely moved and inspired by Jack Veal‘s resilience and strength. His journey from portraying Kid Loki on the small screen to battling real-life challenges is a testament to his spirit and determination. It’s heartbreaking to learn about his past struggles, but it’s also incredibly uplifting to see him reach out for help and find hope in the kindness of strangers.

Seventeen-year-old actor Jack Veal, who gained recognition for playing one of the versions of the main character in the Marvel series Loki, recently shared some encouraging news about his current situation in a new TikTok video. Previously, he had disclosed that he was without a permanent home in a post on the same platform.

Kid Loki actor Jack Veal to meet social services for foster care and accommodations

Veal disclosed in his latest TikTok post that social services had reached out to him for an accommodation meeting. “I just got a call from social services saying they want a meeting with me tomorrow to essentially get me into foster care and supporting accommodations,” Veal said.

The actor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe expressed gratitude towards those who boosted his message on social media and beyond. “I’m not sure what you’ve done,” he said, “but it seems to have made a difference, and I appreciate that.” He added, “They’re taking action now, they’re making changes, so thank you all. God bless you. I’ll keep you updated on the meeting, but there are no guarantees. However, for the first time, they’ve shown interest in accommodating me,” he continued.

This week, Veal openly shared his challenging circumstances in a post on a widely-used short video platform. He disclosed that he endured a harsh upbringing marked by emotional and physical abuse at home. Additionally, Veal mentioned his diagnoses of autism, ADHD, and potential bipolar disorder and psychosis. Currently, he cannot reside with his grandparents due to his grandfather’s terminal illness. With no other options available, Veal is in dire need of assistance, but social services have thus far declined to help him, despite his pleas for aid.

Veal disclosed that he had been “sleeping in the streets” and currently residing in a “trailer that has smashed-in windows.” Further, he asked people to “spread the message of how the government are treating kids.”

Apart from his role as Loki, Veal has also been recognized for his performances in the series “My Name Is Lenny” (2017) and “The End of the F***ing World” (2017).
