As a gamer who has been following The Voice since its early seasons, I must admit that Season 26 has been nothing short of electrifying! With Kelly Clarkson, a fellow pop sensation and one of my favorite artists, set to perform during the finale, I can’t help but feel like Christmas has come early.
For Season 26 of The Voice on NBC, an exhilarating installment of their reality singing competition series unfolds. As the finalists gear up for their journey towards the finale, airing from December 9 onwards, it’s been made official that some past coaches like Kelly Clarkson will make comebacks for live performances during the show.
Kelly Clarkson and Dan + Shay to perform in The Voice Season 26 finale
On Tuesday, December 10, Kelly Clarkson and Dan + Shay are set to appear live on The Voice stage alongside other popular musicians from the music world. Kelly Clarkson will be singing her festive tune “You for Christmas,” while Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney (collectively known as Dan + Shay) – who were coaches during Season 25 – will perform their holiday numbers “Take Me Home for Christmas” and “Pick Out a Christmas Tree.” These songs are included in their recently released album, It’s Officially Christmas: The Double Album.
Moving forward, Myles Smith plans to sing his 2024 song titled “Stargazing.” Tears For Fears will provide a dual-song set featuring “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and “The Girl That I Call Home.” Riley Green and Ella Langley are slated to team up for “Don’t Mind If I Do,” a new release from Green. Super mentor Sting and Coach Snoop Dogg will collaborate on “Another Part of Me.” Additionally, each coach (Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé, Gwen Stefani, and Reba McEntire) will perform duets with their individual final mentees.
On December 9, the televised event that’s being broadcast live will showcase performances. Huntley, our Season-24 champion, will be singing “Skyline Drive.” Michael Bublé and Carly Pearce will perform their hit single “Maybe This Christmas.” Moreover, Asher HaVon, the victor of Season 25, is said to perform “Thank You,” a song he wrote for his mentor McEntire.
On Tuesday, the 10th of December, we’ll finally discover who won Season 26 of “The Voice.” Starting from February 3, 2025, tune in to NBC for the start of Season 27.
