As a die-hard Marvel fan who’s seen more Marvel movies than I care to admit, the upcoming launch of Marvel Rivals has me absolutely squirrel-y with excitement! The roster expansion, featuring none other than Squirrel Girl, Wolverine, Black Widow, Iron Fist, and Cloak and Dagger, is like a dream come true for this comic book enthusiast.

This week sees the debut of Marvel Rivals, and NetEase Games has offered a tantalizing sneak peek with a video revealing several new playable characters. Squirrel Girl, Wolverine, Black Widow, Iron Fist, and Cloak and Dagger have all been officially added to the Marvel Rivals lineup and will be available for play right from the start.

As a diehard Marvel enthusiast, I couldn’t help but notice that the fresh faces gracing the Marvel Rivals lineup were proudly showcased in the game’s grand debut trailer. Among these newcomers is none other than Squirrel Girl, who’ll be brought to life by the talented Milana Vayntrub. Interestingly enough, Vayntrub was initially slated to embody Squirrel Girl on the small screen for a 2018 series that never saw the light of day. Joining her in this digital adventure are crowd favorites like Wolverine and Black Widow.

With these latest inclusions, the Marvel Rivals lineup now boasts a robust total of 33 characters, all of whom will be accessible at no cost upon the game’s release on December 6th. It’s been hinted that additional characters might join the roster following the initial launch, as further updates from NetEase Games are anticipated.
