As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and a soft spot for the Southeast Asian esports scene, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals Season 6 in Malaysia! With a whopping USD $150,000 prize pool and some of the best teams from across the region vying for glory, this event promises to be an unmissable spectacle.

The final round of the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Season 6 will take place in Malaysia on February 14 and 16, 2025.

The LAN tournament is set to gather the finest teams from the region in Johor Bahru. They’ll be vying for more than just the trophy and the chance to boast; they’ll also be competing for a substantial share of the $150,000 prize fund. But reaching that top spot won’t be easy.

The region’s proceedings for Season 6 began with the Mobile Open Qualifiers in early September. Successful teams advanced to the next stage, the Mobile Open Finals, where they battled top-ranking competitors for coveted slots in the Mobile Challenge Season.

During this important stage, 16 teams will face off in early January 2025, and only six of them will progress to the Finals of the Mobile Challenge. These qualifiers will be joined by six teams that have been invited: Falcons AP.Bren, Falcon Esports, Fnatic ONIC, NIP Flash, See You Soon, and Selangor Red Giants.

The Mobile Challenge Finals are structured across two main parts: the Group Matches and the Knockout Stage. In the initial stage, the 12 competing teams will be split into two groups of six. Here, they’ll face off in a series of round-robin, best-of-three contests. The top three teams from each group will then progress to the Playoffs.

Six teams are left to compete in the playoffs, and they’ll square off in a mixed elimination system. Each matchup (except the final one) will consist of three decisive games. However, the grand finale will be a more extensive best-of-seven series. The ultimate victor of this tournament will earn the title of Season 6 regional champions.

All eyes will be on Falcons AP.Bren as they aim to defend their title after a miraculous tournament-winning run in Season 5. Meanwhile, homegrown talent, Selangor Red Giants, will look to ride the momentum of their historic triumph in MPL Malaysia Season 14 to overcome the Philippines-based outfit.

This occasion signals the comeback of the Snapdragon Pro Series, a globally recognized mobile esports network, to Malaysia following an impressive Season 5 for MLBB. During this season, the Asia-Pacific Mobile Challenge Finals held in Kuala Lumpur drew more than 65,000 on-site spectators and peaked at 888,710 online viewers simultaneously.
