As a gamer who has had his fair share of late-night binges, skipping a night of CBS drama is always bittersweet. However, I can understand the reasoning behind the break – it’s Thanksgiving weekend! It’s a time for family, board games, and maybe even a marathon of cheesy holiday movies.
If you’re gearing up for another dose of CBS drama on this coming Friday, November 29th, I regret to inform you that Fire Country and the other two series will not be aired tonight.
Given the current date, it’s no surprise that a break is in order. After all, it’s the Thanksgiving holiday weekend! While some folks only get Thanksgiving Day off, many others take advantage of the extended time off and enjoy the whole weekend. This is typically a moment to gather with loved ones, whether that means playing board games or watching family films together. In fact, during this festive period, many people are less inclined towards scripted dramas.
Instead, CBS has no immediate plans to air a fresh episode of their popular series or replay an episode of Fire Country during this time. Instead, they’ve devised an alternative strategy to capitalize on the holiday season.
What’s on instead of Fire Country tonight?
Tonight, November 29th, is all about “Blue Bloods”. You’ll find two re-runs, with “Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy” airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT in between them. This special episode marks the reflection on the 14 seasons of “Blue Bloods”, as only two episodes remain from its entire series. It’s set to end with a total of 293 episodes!
Hey there fellow gamers, sorry to disappoint but no, there’s no re-run of “Fire Country” tonight. Whether you decide to catch “Blue Bloods” instead (which I highly recommend!) or not, the Tom Selleck drama certainly deserves this special dedication and a night all its own. Enjoy your gaming and TV time!
When will Fire Country return with new episodes?
The positive aspect is that there are yet two remaining episodes set for broadcast in the year 2024. The series Fire Country will be back with fresh episodes on Friday, December 6.
The upcoming episode is named “False Alarm,” and it features prominently Jared Padalecki’s character, Captain Camden Casey from Station 42. In this installment, the team is dispatched to what appears to be a false alarm. However, as the title implies, things are not as they seem. The firefighters find themselves in a precarious and potentially dangerous predicament.
In the series, Casey initially subjected the cadets to challenging circumstances for their training. Now, it seems that training could prove beneficial as they’re all about to encounter a critical situation. Will Bode maintain his composure under pressure and work towards minimizing potential dangers?
As a new acquaintance of Casey’s, it’s clear that he carries a heavy burden. A devastating fire took the lives of his previous team, among whom was his younger brother. This tragedy has left an indelible mark on him, driving him to ensure others are equipped to face similar hardships. It also fuels his determination to navigate this false alarm situation successfully.
Fire Country returns on Friday, Dec. 6 at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up on the series on Paramount+.
