As a seasoned gamer and movie buff with a soft spot for Christmas movies, I am thrilled about the upcoming release of “Dear Santa”. The soundtrack by Rupert Gregson-Williams, especially the track “To Santa”, has already caught my attention with its enchanting melody.

In an entertaining twist, a young boy’s letter to Santa Claus, where he accidentally misspelled his name, leads to an encounter with a mischievous character portrayed by Jack Black, rather than the jolly old man we usually expect.
In a surprising twist, Black assumes the position of the devil, who grants a youth three Christmas wishes after receiving a letter intended for Santa Claus by mistake. This tale emphasizes the turmoil that Black’s character will cause in the young boy’s holiday season as he makes every effort to corrupt his spirit.

“Dear Santa” is helmed by director Bobby Farrelly from a script penned by Ricky Blitt and Peter Farrelly, who co-authored the story with Dan Ewen. The star-studded cast includes Robert Timothy Smith, Keegan-Michael Key, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, Post Malone, P.J. Byrne, Jaden Carson Baker, and Kai Cech. Produced by Peter Farrelly, Bobby Farrelly, and Jeremy Kramer, Kevin Barnett, Pete Jones, and Gretel Twombly act as executive producers. This film is a collaborative effort between Kraymation Films and Paramount Pictures.
