As a die-hard fan of Tim Burton and all things quirky, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming release of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”! Having grown up watching the original 1988 masterpiece, I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of revisiting the eerie charm of the Afterlife and the hilarious antics of Betelgeuse.


Warner Bros. has declared the release date for Tim Burton’s upcoming horror comedy movie titled “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (referred to as Max). This new film is a sequel to the 1988 cult classic, and during its cinematic run, it amassed over $450 million at the global box office. At present, it boasts a Certified Fresh rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 359 reviews.

When is the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Max release date?

Starting this coming Friday, December 6, you can stream “Beetlejuice” only on Max. A day later, on Saturday, December 7, it will make its television premiere on HBO.

The movie was created by Tim Burton and it followed a script penned by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. In the next installment, original actors like Michael Keaton (as Betelgeuse), Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz), Catherine O’Hara (Delia Deetz), Jenna Ortega (Astrid Deetz), Monica Bellucci (Betelgeuse’s ex-spouse), Willem Dafoe (Wolf Jackson), Justin Theroux (Rory), Arthur Conti (Jeremy), Burn Gorman (Father Damien), and others returned to reprise their roles.

Following an unexpected family catastrophe, the Deetz clan finds themselves back at Winter River. The ghost of Beetlejuice continues to linger, causing chaos in Lydia’s life when her headstrong teenage daughter, Astrid, stumbles upon a peculiar model of the town in the attic and inadvertently opens a gateway to the Afterlife. As turmoil builds in both worlds, it won’t be long before someone utters Beetlejuice’s name thrice, summoning the trickster spirit to wreak havoc with his signature brand of mischief.
