As a seasoned gamer of both virtual and real-life sagas, I can confidently say that the return of Outlander has left me utterly elated! The seventh season B premiere was nothing short of spectacular, and I’m already itching for more.
After a long wait, another hiatus from Outlander has ended. The season 7B debut is upon us, and it certainly lives up to expectations. Naturally, you’ll be eager to dive right into the remainder of the series.
Similar to past seasons, “Outlander” will be broadcasted on a weekly basis, which is typical for premium cable networks. Although it may seem like streaming through an app, channels such as STARZ primarily generate revenue from subscriptions. By releasing episodes weekly, they aim to keep viewers engaged and invested, as this model serves their business purposes.
Additionally, I find delight in following shows on a weekly basis. To be honest, I have a fondness for dissecting each episode’s details and sharing my thoughts with others, as well as engaging in discussions about theories. On the other hand, when I binge-watch something all at once, I tend to forget significant events that occurred during the viewing.
Outlander season 7B release schedule
To help you prepare, here’s an approximate timeline for the upcoming episodes. Unfortunately, STARZ isn’t sharing specific dates that are too far ahead.
Friday, Nov 22nd: Outlander‘s Season 7, episode 9, titled “Unfinished Business”
Friday, Nov 29th: Outlander‘s Season 7, Episode 10, named “Brotherly Love
The current STARZ schedule ends here, but we anticipate airing a new episode on both Fridays, December 6th and 13th.
The show is broadcasted at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) and Pacific Time (PT) on the specified channel. New episodes become available at midnight Eastern Time on the app, so for viewers on the West Coast, this means they can watch it at 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Will there be a week break in the Outlander schedule?
In the upcoming season, it’s likely that we’ll experience a brief hiatus of about a week. With the exception of the first season (which, interestingly, included a six-month pause while STARZ was still fine-tuning things), the show has typically taken a one-week break at some point during each subsequent season.
In the second season, the hiatus occurred right before the finale. For seasons 3 through 5, there was a weekly pause in the middle of each season. However, seasons 6 and 7A resumed the hiatus just prior to the finales. I suspect that’s where we’ll find the break for season 7B as well.
Yes, I fully expect a break. This isn’t just an Outlander thing. STARZ is doing it with all shows.
It’s been confirmed that “The Couple Next Door” is set to debut on Friday, January 17th. It seems plausible that the finale of “Outlander” season 7 might air on the same date and lead us right into the thrilling series starring Sam Heughan. However, I can’t verify yet if there will be a break on January 10th.
