As a dedicated follower of Tamil cinema, I have always been captivated by the charisma and talent that Sivakarthikeyan brings to the screen. His recent accolades for his performance in Amaran are well-deserved, but it’s not just his own work that has caught my attention. In a sea of admiration for his peers, he has singled out Yash, the KGF star, as someone who has made a profound impact on the Indian film industry.
Recently, Sivakarthikeyan made headlines with his outstanding performance in the movie Amaran. Amidst the torrent of admiration and acclaim he’s been receiving, the actor recently expressed his admiration for several peers and actors from various regional films. Openly, Sivakarthikeyan praised KGF star Yash for his exceptional work.
At the IFFI Goa, Sivakarthikeyan discussed the Kannada film industry and highlighted that when thinking about it, the individual who immediately comes to mind is actor Shiva Rajkumar. In addition, Sivakarthikeyan expressed a great deal of affection and admiration for this seasoned artist.
Yet, he didn’t shy away from discussing Yash extensively. Sivakarthikeyan emphasized that Yash’s groundbreaking portrayal in the KGF series catalyzed an unexpected revolution within the Kannada film industry.
Sivakarthikeyan expressed, “I admire everyone’s artistry. Whenever a quality movie appears, I make sure to watch it and appreciate their efforts. However, Yash’s contributions to the Kannada film industry are truly exceptional. The success of KGF 1 was significant for the Kannada industry, but when KGF 2 released, it became a triumph for the entire Indian film industry.
Apart from praising Yash, the Tamil actor acknowledged that it was largely due to Yash’s efforts that the entire Indian film industry gained international recognition.
Sivakarthikeyan stated, “Yash’s achievements are truly remarkable. Not only has he elevated himself, but he’s also raised the bar for our industry. I have always respected Yash and I wish him continued success.
Indeed, let’s revisit Sivakarthikeyan; his latest film, “Amaran,” a captivating war biography, has been a blockbuster hit at the box office.
The film’s unique plot, which narrates the story of a real-life hero in the martyred Major Mukund Varadarajan, has touched several hearts. The cinematography, music, and all other aspects of the movie have been critically appreciated.
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film starred Sai Pallavi in the lead role opposite him.
Besides that, SK also has an exciting project, an action film directed by AR Murugadoss.
