As a gamer with a heart for Disney classics and a soft spot for alien adventures, I must say, the new Lilo & Stitch live-action poster has me buzzing like a certain blue cat! The original movie was a staple of my childhood, and seeing the iconic Stitch come to life in a new way is truly exhilarating.


Disney recently unveiled a fresh poster for the forthcoming live-action adaptation of “Lilo & Stitch”, offering a sneak peek at the appearance of everyone’s favorite alien, Stitch, in the film.

In the latest poster, Stitch is subtly displayed as he barges into the picture once more. This new visual offers a crisp portrayal of the character, which is set to be brought to life by Chris Sanders in the forthcoming film version.

What do we know about the Lilo & Stitch live-action movie?

In the movie, Maia Kealoha takes on the role of Lilo, Sydney Agudong portrays Nani, Kaipo Dudoit acts as David, Tia Carrere is cast as Mrs. Kekoa, Courtney B. Vance plays Cobra Bubbles, Amy Hill assumes the character of Tūtū, and Jason Scott Lee plays a manager for a luau event.

Additionally, Chris Sanders lends his voice to the character of Stitch, while Dr. Jumba is voiced by Zach Galifianakis. Lastly, Agent Pleakley is brought to life vocally by Billy Magnussen.

The narrative centered around Hawaii revolves around the friendship that blossoms between a solitary human girl named Lilo and an alien resembling a dog, named Stitch, who was manufactured to bring about destruction. Despite intrusive social workers and pursuing extraterrestrials knocking on their door, they grow close over their shared understanding of family and ultimately triumph in the end.

In the initial 2002 film, Chris Kekaniokalani Bright penned the script, whereas Sanders and Dean DeBlois took charge of both writing and directing the screenplay. Interestingly, Sanders provided the voice for the character in the original movie as well as various other projects such as Lilo & Stitch: The Series, Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch from 2005, and Leroy & Stitch in 2006.
