Update on Paul Heyman’s Backstage Presence in WWE

As a dedicated fan who has watched Paul Heyman navigate the complex world of professional wrestling for decades, it’s heartening to know that despite his absence from our screens, he continues to play a crucial role backstage. His unwavering loyalty and strategic prowess have been instrumental in shaping the careers of some of WWE’s biggest stars.

In approximately five months, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has been absent from our screens. Known as the “Wiseman” of Roman Reigns, he was defeated by Solo Sikoa, marking a shift in the Bloodline.

On the June 28th episode of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa declared himself the new Tribal Chief. He instructed the newly inducted Bloodline members, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, to recognize him. The new members complied with Sikoa’s orders, but in Roman Reigns’ absence, Paul Heyman found himself in a tricky predicament and refused to obey Sikoa’s command.

In response to this provocation, Solo Sikoa retaliated with a powerful Samoan Spike and instructed the fresh Bloodline members to shove Paul Heyman off the announcer’s table. Following this violent assault, Paul Heyman vanished from our screens.

Last week on WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns attempted to contact his advisor, Paul Heyman, over the phone. However, Heyman did not answer the call, causing Reigns concern. Meanwhile, Jey Uso, an original member of the Bloodline, provided a significant update on Heyman’s backstage involvement.

Jey Uso confirms Paul Heyman’s backstage involvement in WWE

In a recent conversation with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, WWE star Jey Uso shared that Paul Heyman is still active behind the scenes, despite his absence from television broadcasts. To put it simply, Jey mentioned that “The Wise Man” plays an important role in his family and has been around for over five decades. Moreover, he’s often seen working backstage, even when not on TV, contributing as a producer.

Speaking about him as an important resource, Jey Uso remarks, “I’m happy he’s near my loved ones, and I’m simply grateful to have him on our team. He’s a significant ally who supports and advocates for us. Whenever we face challenges, we turn to him. He ensures things work out for my family. We adore him.

Recently, there’s been talk about Paul Heyman after a long period of silence. We’ll have to wait and see if he brings in backup for Roman Reigns during the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames event.
