What is Under the Crystal Sky about?

Drawing inspiration from the extraordinary celestial event that occurred over Nuremberg in 1561, this movie revolves around an Indigenous family’s experience with an Unidentified Flying Object during the 1800s. It is helmed by Matt Hartley, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Shiv Rajagopal.

In ‘Under the Starlit Canopy,’ an indigenous family confronts the aftermath of a spectacular cosmic event and a UFO collision close to their settlement. As fear escalates, enigmatic occurrences transpire, and a potentially violent confrontation with U.S. military forces approaches. Drawing from the 1561 celestial spectacle over Nuremberg, this movie reinterprets history using an indigenous perspective and the genre of speculative science fiction.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to be part of this exciting project alongside Sewwandi V portraying Alona, Jacquelin Arroyo as Ayita, Joseph Williams as Alo, Jayd Swendseid, Sean Whaling, and John Walker Jones. This sci-fi adventure series set in a period context is the brainchild of Hartley, Rajagopal, and Arpi Nazaryan. Matthew Helderman, Scott Wessels, and Luke Taylor are on board as executive producers, ensuring a high-quality gaming experience for us all.
