While I understand that rankings are subjective and everyone has their opinions, it’s hard not to feel a pang of disappointment when you see an artist who has shaped the pop culture landscape for over two decades being relegated to the 8th spot on a list of great pop stars.

Billboard recently published a list of the 25 Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century, featuring Justin Bieber in the 8th spot. However, his wife Hailey wasn’t pleased with this ranking and voiced her opinion on Instagram, commenting “Billboard is a joke as usual.” Although the comment has been removed, many fans have expressed similar sentiments regarding the list.
Following Rhode’s comment, Justin Bieber’s supporters spoke up in agreement with her viewpoint. Some felt he should have placed higher on the list, perhaps even among the top 3. Others reminisced about his significant impact on pop culture music and the “Bieber fever” phenomenon. Many more criticized the publication, asserting that Bieber will forever hold a special place in their hearts as their top choice.
Currently, Justin is delighting in fatherhood to his son, Jack Blues Bieber, whom he had with Hailey in August. He announced the birth of their child on Instagram by posting a picture of Hailey holding baby Jack’s feet. Since then, he has been occasionally revealing snippets of his son’s life. Recently, the singer shared a collection of photos showcasing their family Halloween festivities. In the images, Justin can be seen cradling Jack in a pink onesie while dressing up as characters from “Kim Possible” with his wife.
According to Billboard, Justin Bieber has achieved eight number-one hits on the Hot 100 chart and eight number-one albums on the 200 chart. In 2021, he made history as the first male solo artist to debut at the top of both charts with his song “Peaches” and album “Justice.
