In addition to Rumpf and Garrel, Variety also mentions that Anyier Anei, Garace Marillier, and Finnegan Oldfield are joining the cast of the upcoming project. Rumpf and Garrel will be co-stars to Jolie in this venture, as they both play roles alongside her. Jolie is set to portray Maxine, a character who visits Paris for Fashion Week and embarks on a journey.

In the spotlight for her performance in the 2016 movie “Raw,” Rumpf is particularly recognized. On the other hand, Garrel gained fame for his leading part in the 2003 erotic romance drama film, “The Dreamers.

At present, further details regarding the cast are yet to be disclosed. As for Stitches, details about its storyline are scarce; however, Variety hints that it takes place in the realm of high-end fashion, primarily in Paris. In this film, Angelina Jolie portrays a filmmaker character, who is part of a trio whose lives intersect during Fashion Week.

The filming for “Stitches” is set to start the following year, and it will be filmed in both French and English. CG Cinema is collaborating on this project with Zhang Xin and William Horberg from Closer Media.

Alice Winocour is recognized for directing the 2019 movie Proxima, featuring Eva Green, Matt Dillon, Zélie Boulant-Lemesle, Sandra Hüller, and Lars Eidinger. Her first directorial feature film, Augustine in 2012, was nominated for the Caméra d’Or at Cannes Film Festival. Her body of work also includes Disorder from 2015 and Paris Memories from 2022.

A release date has not yet been announced for Stitches.
