As a fan of captivating science-fiction thrillers and a connoisseur of exceptional acting talent, I must say that the casting of Natalie Burn in Timothy Woodward Jr.’s Eyes in the Trees is nothing short of electrifying! Her portrayal of a military veteran alongside the legendary Anthony Hopkins promises to deliver a powerhouse performance that will undoubtedly leave audiences on the edge of their seats.
Excitement for Timothy Woodward Jr.’s “Eyes in the Trees” is growing as actress Natalie Burn has joined the cast for this science-fiction thriller. This upcoming film is a contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells’ 1896 novel, The Island of Dr. Moreau. Now, it’s confirmed that Natalie Burn will be part of Eyes in the Trees, which already boasts two-time Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins among its cast members.
Natalie Burn to play military veteran in Eyes in the Trees alongside Anthony Hopkins
The Til Death Do Us Part star recently joined the project as Marcy, a seasoned military official.
Additionally, Natalie Burn has been announced to act alongside Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Ashley Greene, and other prominent Hollywood actors in Eyes in the Trees. This news about Burn’s casting was initially broken by Deadline. The report also hinted at the character Burn will play in the highly anticipated adaptation of Wells’ work – a military veteran embarking on a hazardous expedition with her fellow soldiers to a distant Thai island named Monkey Ko.
In our adaptation, Monkey Ko, previously known as ‘The Island of Death’, will be where the sinister Dr. Addis (played by Hopkins) conducts horrific genetic experiments. Meanwhile, Burn’s character joins the team led by Vince Henway, portrayed by Meyers, and Channing Arneau, played by Greene, in Eyes in the Trees. Initially, this journey is fueled by curiosity, but it soon becomes a struggle for survival, as Variety describes.
Natalie Burn teams up again with Timothy Woodward Jr., marking their second collaboration following their work together on Til Death Do Us Part. In the meantime, the writing team composed of B. Harrison Smith, Mike Manning, and Dominic Burns takes the lead on Eyes in the Trees’ script.
At this moment, the making of the film is ongoing, specifically in Thailand for shooting. Yet, as I write, there’s no set release date for the project.
