As a dedicated fan who has weathered countless Droughtlanders, I can confidently say that the arrival of Outlander season 7B is like a beacon of hope in the stormy seas of time travel drama. The knowledge that each episode will run for 60 minutes, starting at 8 p.m. ET on STARZ, is both a relief and an excitement-inducing prospect. I’ve learned to carve out a significant chunk of my life for this show, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a dedicated Outlander enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating the resumption of our journey in season 7B! Mark your calendars and set aside ample viewing hours to fully immerse yourself in each episode.
Although we’d prefer to spend an entire day with Claire and Jamie, that isn’t possible. Rerunning old episodes would offer some enjoyment, but it wouldn’t provide fresh material. Fortunately, there’s plenty of new content coming in the upcoming episode airing at midnight ET on STARZ.
It’s advisable to inform people about how long you’ll be away so as to avoid interruptions during your viewing time. Moreover, you’d want to ensure that the allotted time is sufficient for watching ‘Outlander’ season 7, episode 9 in its entirety. Here are some details on the duration of ‘Outlander’ season 7, episode 9.
Outlander season 7B premiere episode length
In the seventh season of Outlander, episode 9 lasts for an hour (60 minutes). It begins at 8:00 PM on STARZ and is expected to conclude around 9:00 PM. Keep in mind that it may run slightly shorter due to promotions for other shows, so allow for a few minutes of flexibility.
The episode on STARZ will replay at 9:30 p.m., lasting until 10:32 p.m. This means it’s an hour-long show, with the additional minutes likely reserved for promotions. We can’t wait to catch a glimpse of the preview for the tenth episode of Outlander‘s seventh season!

What to expect in Outlander season 7, episode 9
In the story titled “Unresolved Matters,” our main characters Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian are making their way back to Lallybroch. This visit offers opportunities for heartwarming reunions, but not all of these meetings will be ones we’re hoping for. It seems that Jamie is going to see Laoghaire, and based on a glimpse of the episode, it appears this encounter is prompted by some lingering issues between them.
Most recently, Laoghaire shot Jamie when she discovered that Claire was still alive. Consequently, their marriage, found invalid due to multiple reasons including bigamy and attempted murder on Jamie’s part, needed a solution. This predicament led Jamie to seek the gems from the island, ultimately resulting in Young Ian’s abduction. The events following this incident are now known as history.
It seems Jamie and Laoghaire need to sort out a few matters. Ideally, they are working towards resolving any issues between them permanently. Given the situation, it’s crucial for Jamie to return to America without this matter lingering as an issue.
