Suits: LA Will See Original Star Return in Cameo Arc

As a gamer with a soft spot for legal dramas, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia hearing that Gabriel Macht, the iconic Harvey Specter from Suits, will be gracing our screens once more, this time in the highly anticipated Suits: LA spin-off. Having binge-watched the original series multiple times and even cosplaying as Harvey for a convention, I must admit, my anticipation for this new chapter is through the roof!

Fans of Suits can look forward to some excitement, as it’s been reported by Deadline that a star from the original show will make an appearance in the forthcoming Suits: LA spin-off.

Who is appearing in Suits: LA?

Based on Deadline’s report, it’s been announced that Gabriel Macht, known for his role as Harvey Specter in the original series, is set to feature in the upcoming spin-off. The specific details of his character’s storyline are yet to be disclosed, but Deadline mentions he’ll appear over a three-episode arc, suggesting he’ll make an appearance for a brief period when he does appear on screen.

On February 23, 2025, Suits: LA is scheduled for release. This series is set to air after a two-hour debut of The Americas. NBC aims to have two major premieres taking place on that particular Sunday evening.

In a new series titled “Suits: LA,” Stephen Amell takes on the role of Ted Black, a former New York federal prosecutor. Joining him are Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg. Additionally, Troy Winbush and Alice will appear frequently, while John Amos, Victoria Justice, and Kevin Weisman make guest appearances.

The TV show ‘Suits: LA’ revolves around Ted Black, a former New York federal prosecutor who now represents the elite clients in Los Angeles. However, his law firm is at a critical juncture, forcing him to take on a role he despised throughout his career. Amidst this turmoil, Ted finds himself surrounded by a diverse group of characters whose loyalties are constantly challenged as they intertwine their personal and professional lives. As past events that led Ted to abandon everything and everyone he cherished begin to unravel, the story unfolds.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that this intriguing series is the brainchild of Aaron Korsh, its original creator. Joining him in the creative helm are David Bartis, Doug Liman, and Gene Klein. In the spin-off, we find Stephen Amell portraying Ted Black, Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Troy Winbush as Kevin, Alice Lee as Leah, and Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen. Victoria Mahoney (of The Old Guard 2 fame) is at the helm for this pilot’s direction and executive production.
