As a gamer with a keen eye for entertainment and a soft spot for Seth Rogen‘s comedic genius, I must say, the trailer for The Studio has me hooked! After binge-watching his previous works, from Pineapple Express to Superbad, I can confidently predict that this new Apple TV+ series will be another hilarious rollercoaster ride.
The initial sneak peek for “The Studio” reveals that it will make its debut on Apple TV+, as per its scheduled premiere date for the forthcoming Seth Rogen comedy series.
The Studio presents a fresh, ten-episode comedy series that spans half an hour each episode. This series was jointly written, directed, and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Additionally, Rogen himself is part of the cast alongside Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Dewayne Perkins.

When is The Studio’s release date?
On March 26, 2025, the initial two installments of The Studio series will debut on Apple TV+. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly every Wednesday, with the last episode airing on May 21, 2025.
In “The Studio,” Rogen takes on the role of a freshly appointed studio head, Continental Studios. The series’ plot follows him and his studio executive team, who are under pressure to gain celebrity approval while balancing corporate expectations with creative aspirations. Their mission: keep movies captivating and contemporary.
Beyond the previously mentioned actors, the studio’s trailer also showcases cameos by Martin Scorsese, Zoë Kravitz, Zac Efron, Charlize Theron, Anthony Mackie, and several others.
The show was developed by Rogen, Goldberg, Frida Perez, Peter Huyck, and Alex Gregory. James Weaver, Alex McAtee, and Josh Fagen from Point Grey Pictures serve as executive producers for the series, along with Rogen and Goldberg.
Previously, Rogen has collaborated with Apple TV+. Currently, he is involved in the comedy series “Platonic,” created by Francesca Delbanco and Nicholas Stoller. This show debuted on the streaming platform in May 2023. In this series, Rogen portrays the character Will, alongside Rose Byrne as Sylvia, Luke Macfarlane as Charlie, Tre Hale as Andy, Andrew Lopez as Reggie, and Carla Gallo as Kate. The show was renewed for a second season in December 2023; however, the release date for this new season is yet to be announced.
