As an ardent fan of Kannada cinema, I must say that the release of Martin on OTT platforms has been a long-awaited delight! Having grown up watching Dhruva Sarja in various roles, it’s fascinating to see him take on a dual role in this action thriller. Despite the initial box office struggles and mixed reviews, the movie’s intriguing plot and high-octane action sequences are worth the watch.
The action-thriller movie “Martin,” starring Dhruva Sarja, which hit theaters on October 11, 2024, during Dusshera, is now available to stream online. The film was directed by AP Arjun and written by Dhruva’s uncle, actor Arjun Sarja.
Starting on November 19, 2024, you can stream this movie online via Amazon Prime Video and Aha Video. Notably, the film will be accessible in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages on Amazon, but only in Telugu on Aha.
The announcement about the movie’s online streaming was shared by industry tracker Ramesh Bala, via a post on X (previously known as Twitter).

The film “Martin” chronicles the story of Lieutenant Brigadarier Arjun Saxena, a naval officer who winds up in Pakistan after receiving mysterious drugs that cause him to lose his memory. Struggling with amnesia, this man exhibits violent behavior as he sets out on a journey to discover his real identity.
During my personal journey of self-discovery, I unexpectedly encounter a man remarkably similar to myself – a mirror image, if you will. Known as Martin, it remains unclear whether he’s an ally or adversary. What I do know is that I must mend my relationships and avoid losing the bonds that matter most.
In this film, Dhruva Sarja takes on two distinct characters. Notable actors like Vaibhavi Shandilya, Achyuth Kumar, Anveshi Jain, Sukrutha Wagle, Chikkanna, Malavika Avinash, and others have significant roles. As per Daily News and Analysis, the production cost of this movie was a substantial Rs 150 crore. Unfortunately, upon its release, it suffered losses at the box office, failed to impress audiences, and garnered unfavorable reviews from critics.

1) In the creation of the film’s soundtrack, it was Mani Sharma who wrote the music, while Ravi Basrur, well-known for his work on KGF, took charge of the background scores. Furthermore, the rights to broadcast the movie satellite-wise were acquired by Zee Network.
In the near future, actor Dhruva Sarja will appear in an upcoming action movie titled “KD: The Devil.” This film is helmed by director Kiran Kumar, known as Prem, and also stars Sanjay Dutt in a significant role. Alongside them, the cast includes Reeshma Nanaiah, V Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Shilpa Shetty, Jisshu Sengupta, and Nora Fatehi.
