As a long-time Outlander enthusiast who has attended The Gathering since its inception, I must say that Day 2 of this year’s event was nothing short of spectacular! The Chocolate Shop experience is always a highlight for me, and it didn’t disappoint this time around.
At Sasnak City’s The Gathering 2024 on Day 2, the day was bustling with activity. This is typical for this event, wrapping up with a visit to Chocolate Shop, Blue Mountain, and a lively dance party.
At the Chocolate Shop, exclusive access is granted only to those with Lallybroch tickets. This presents a fantastic opportunity to interact with the talented cast members on a more personal level, as well as snap some memorable selfies with them.
Delicious desserts at Chocolate Shop at The Gathering 2024
The World War I Museum has prepared an assortment of mini desserts for the occasion, but the focus is truly on Crumbl Cookies. After all, most of the Outlander cast members haven’t tried these cookies before, as they are not widely available in the UK. In fact, there aren’t many places where you can find them! This event presents a unique opportunity for Lallybroch ticket holders to express their affection for Crumbl Cookies.
This topic wasn’t as widely discussed this year compared to previous ones, but it remains a beloved dessert for the cast to bring along. Each attendee will still receive one cookie.
Selfies and chatting at Chocolate Shop
At The Gathering 2024, the main action unfolds as the cast gathers together and divides into pairs, moving towards the five tables to interact with attendees in more intimate settings.
Each cast member spent eight minutes at every table, commencing with a quick round of selfies before moving on to a more in-depth conversation. Previously, these selfie sessions took place after each round, which often caused the events to run late.
During these events, it’s crucial to adhere to the rules, with the main one being to avoid hogging the conversation with the cast. Every attendee has a chance to interact with them due to their Lallybroch ticket, and each person deserves an equal opportunity to engage with the cast and listen to what they have to share.
Chocolate Shop ran for about an hour in total. It was a great night for attendees and cast.
