As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent exploring the vast virtual worlds of Wuthering Waves, I must say that Camellya has quickly become one of my favorite additions to the game. Her flower-themed Resonator and Havoc character class offer a unique playstyle that’s both exhilarating and challenging.
Camellya is an exciting new element in Wuthering Waves, debuting in version 1.4. This Resonator, themed around flowers, can deal a staggering amount of damage and boasts some of the game’s most intense burst damages yet. However, it comes with a slight compromise: when in high-damage mode, mobility will be slightly restricted.
The best Camellya build and teams in Wuthering Waves
In simpler terms, Camellya is a character from Havoc who engages in combat using a sword. She’s an exceptional main Damage Per Second (DPS) fighter, known for her captivating move set that involves swinging from vines and plants while performing acrobatic spins that shred her enemies to pieces.
- Best weapon – The best weapon option for Camellya is the brand-new Red Spring sword. This will increase ATK by 12%, and when dealing basic attacks DMG, you get 12% Basic Attack DMG for 12 seconds. This can be proced once per second and stacks up to five times. After you use your Concerto energy, you gain a huge 40% extra damage in basic attacks until you switch her off-field. If you don’t have this, as it will be new, then anything with high base damage and high critical will be a great option, such as the Blazing Brilliance.
- Best Echoes – For Echoes, we are going for the 4,3,3,1,1 pattern. Our 4 Cost is going to be Crownless, bringing a relentless Havoc assault and improved Havoc damage and Resonance Skill damage. After that, lean hard into the Sun-Sinking Eclipse Sonata and aim for all five pieces. It will give us a 7.5% Havoc damage increase after basic attacks and heavy attacks and can stack up to four times with a duration of 15 seconds. For 3 Costs, you can go with Havoc Dreadmane, Roseshroom, and Tambourinist. Additional stats to watch out for would be ATK, Critical Rate, Critical DMG, and Energy Regen.
Understanding Crimson Pistils
When it comes to Camellya, she appears straightforward due to her reliance on basic attacks and boosting their damage. However, her heavy attacks, dodge counter, and special moves also contribute to this damage type. Yet, the real depth of utilizing her abilities effectively lies in mastering Crimson Pistils, which adds a layer of complexity to her overall performance.
Apart from her regular state, she can switch to two distinct modes as well: a standard mode and a special mode known as Blossom Mode. Activating this Blossom Mode through her Resonance Skill allows her to float in mid-air, unleashing widespread damage but reducing her movement capabilities at the same time.
To quickly gather 100 Crimson Pistils, utilize her Intro Skill and Forte Circuit activation. Once spent, these Pistils are used for attacking and recharging your Concerto energy. When your Concerto energy is fully replenished, switch your resonance skill to a skill called Ephemeral. Activating Ephemeral will transition you into Budding Mode.
Essentially, activating Budding Mode supercharges your damage. The goal is to quickly transition into Budding Mode and remain there for extended periods to deal maximum damage. Mastering the rotation for this character makes it simple to sustain high damage output over time.
Best team for Camellya
Camellya pairs incredibly well with Shorekeeper, who offers all manner of buffs to criticals. Being so critically focused and very greedy as far as staying on-field goes, Camellya can make excellent use of the Shorekeeper’s Stellarrealms for crazy damage stacks. Sanhua is also perfect for her due to the basic attack focus and the benefits that Sanhua brings to basic attack damage output.
Here I am, sharing all you’ve got to grasp to make the best of your Camelly experience while cruising the Black Shores in Wuthering Waves. Enjoy the game!
